To ensure the longevity of your griddle, please follow these care instructions:

• Our cast iron griddles are coated with porcelain enamel, providing excellent heat retention while minimizing rust. However, chips or scratches in the coating can expose the cast iron, leading to potential rusting. It's important to manage rust, which is typical for all cast iron surfaces, whether indoor or outdoor.

• When grilling with metal tools, exercise caution to avoid scraping the surface. Instead of using a metal or wire brush, opt for a soft bristle grill brush (e.g., nylon) for cleaning.

• After each use, burn off any remaining food residue. As needed, clean the griddle with hot water and mild soap. Ensure thorough drying, and apply a thin coat of vegetable oil to exposed areas, minimizing the risk of rust.
